Wraxall Vineyards

What’s the product?

A sensational tipple that's perfect for celebrating: Somerset Sparkling Wine, a delicious softly fruity fizz with a baked apple bouquet.

Who's behind it?

Lexa and David purchased the Wraxall Vineyard (originally planted in 1974) in February 2021, and are excited to be taking the vineyard onto the next stage of its life.

What’s the story?

Wraxall Vineyard has been producing top quality, award-winning wines since 1974, and is believed to be Somerset’s oldest vineyard, situated on a beautiful warm south-facing hillside, south of the Mendip Hills in Somerset. After a flying start in the 70s, the vineyard fell into neglect for a few years, but over the past 15 years a lot of time and effort has been invested in building it back up to strength again. With a policy of minimal intervention in the growing process and support for biodiversity, Lexa and David are further investing in the vineyard to ensure its longevity and the production of the highest quality wines.

Why we love it…

The Somerset Sparkling Wine is a definite bestseller and always our top choice for a celebratory snifter – what better way to toast than with a fabulous local wine?
