Our Community

Community is at the very heart of Taste of Bath

It all started with promoting our fantastic local producers and generating revenue for the local economy. But there are other ways in which we like to support and build up our local community as much as possible…

We practice what we preach

We’re always telling people to support local, so we make sure that we do it too! All our printing is done by brilliant local firm Minuteman, and deliveries within Bath are made by the gorgeously green Three Bags Full, both of whom we highly recommend. And last but not least, most of our team is made up of awesome local freelancers and small agencies, none of whom we could manage without.

Our Bath Business Community

We were named Bath’s Best Business Service 2019 for good reason – as part and parcel of our fantastic, unique service, we encourage Bath-based firms to buy local when it comes to business gifting (which generates revenue for small local businesses and promotes Bath across the country).

After all, why not celebrate your company’s roots and make an impression with gorgeous gifts that are unique to Bath? We also work with our business clients on innovative marketing campaigns, fabulous foodie events and more – all of which support our family of local producers.

Finally, we support our business clients themselves with regular networking events, including our famous Annual Client Event, in which we host 200 CEOs from across the region for an incredible evening of connections and introductions. We support local charities

Bath Foodbank Logo with tagline "No-one in our community should go hungry"

Our main charity partner is Bath Foodbank, who provide emergency food parcels and other essential support for people in need in the local community. 1 in 5 people in the UK now live below the poverty line, and Bath Foodbank’s support has been more crucial than ever during the COVID 19 pandemic. We donate £1 to Bath Foodbank for every hamper we sell, and support them in plenty of other ways too - find out more about our partnership with Bath Foodbank and our campaigns to support them here.

Previously, we've supported FareShare South West through sales of our tea towels, and managed to raise £2250 between 2018 and 2021 to help feed people in need. In early 2021, we ran a month-long initiative to donate brownies to local NHS staff for every order we received, and ended up gifting almost 400 brownies thanks to the support of our lovely customers! We also regularly donate hampers to local charitable causes for auctions, competitions and more - for example, in 2019, we donated £3,245 worth of hampers to local organisations, including The Forever Friends Appeal, Dorothy House, The Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Guide Dogs for the Blind and Bath City Farm.

We support our producers to do good
Many of our producers have their own wonderful charity schemes and partnerships, and we’re proud to support them in those endeavours. See Meet the Producers to find out more.
