Cotswold Hills

What’s the product?

A generous glass of sparkling wine, with gorgeous aromas of citrus, apple and pear and a delicate minerality, sealed in a can to preserve that crisp freshness and makes it perfect for an impromptu tipple!

Who’s behind it?

The talented Royal Agricultural University students at Cotswold Hills – an award-winning wine and social enterprise project which supports young people to start their own businesses.

What’s the story?

The Royal Agricultural University took on the tenancy of the Cotswold Hills vineyard, near Down Ampney, Cirencester, in 2016. Ever since then, the project has been providing students with a unique opportunity to learn first-hand about vineyard management, grape varieties, wine production, marketing and finances, before helping with the harvest. The grapes are then transported to winemaker and RAU alumnus Martin Fowke, at Three Choirs in Newent Gloucestershire, to make the magic happen…

Why we love it…

At Taste of Bath, we’ve made it our mission to help independent businesses to thrive, and we think the Cotswold Hills project is a fantastic way to support the next generation. Crucially, they also make excellent wine! Bubbly on the go for picnics, parks and BBQs? We’ll drink to that!
