What’s the product?
Frankly, we found it nearly impossible to narrow down our choices from Coco Chemistry, so we have plenty of their scrumptious creations in our collection!
A particular favourite of the TOB team is the Dark Sea Salt Caramel Truffles - it's absolutely impossible to stop at just one. Speaking of moreish, we also highly recommend their Dark Chocolate Honeycomb (like a Crunchie bar but with a serious artisan upgrade!) and the Milk Chocolate Nuggets, crispy whole-wheat pieces in a milk chocolate shell that are perfect with a cuppa. Crispy Mint Thins, meanwhile, make the ideal after-dinner nibble with coffee.
Finally, we've got Coco Chemistry's Turkish Delight - it doesn't feature any chocolate but we'll forgive them that because it's sweet, delicate and totally irresistible!
Who’s behind it?
Richard and Julie, who are based in the famously beautiful village of Lacock, 14.2 miles outside of Bath.
What’s the story?
Richard and Julie are two former chemists who gave up their corporate jobs to embark on a career crafting the finest chocolates, translating their chemistry skills to the kitchen. Both trained by world master chocolatiers, their mission is to push boundaries, fusing traditional methods with novel flavour pairing techniques to produce unique textures, tastes, flavours and designs.
All their chocolates are made by hand and Coco Chemistry are committed to using only the best ingredients. Their chocolate is covered by the Cocoa Horizons Foundation, an independent, non-profit organization which focuses on cocoa farmer prosperity, building self-sustaining farming communities that protect nature and children.
